POSITION TITLE: TEACHER LIBRARIAN SUMMER SCHOOL SUPPORT

QUALIFICATIONS: Arkansas certification in Library Media

REPORTS TO: Summer School Building Principal and District Library Media Facilitator

JOB GOALS: To provide leadership in the planning, development and implementation of district summer school programs

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Perform duties with a professional and cooperative work ethic and promote positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the community.
• Possess Edgenuity Platform Experience.
• Support Onsite and Online (Virtual) Summer School in Chromebook Distribution and Help Desk.
• Assist teaching staff and students in the selection of books and other instructional materials.
• Encourage the use of instructional technology to engage students and to improve learning, providing 24/7 access to digital information resources for the entire learning community through online resources.
• Meet the diverse and developmental learning needs of all learners.
• Provide Tier 1 technology support to faculty, staff and students.
• Assist with the distribution, maintenance, and circulation of Chromebooks and other equipment.
• Support student online access and passwords.
• Know and follow Board of Education policies, Desegregation Plan, district and school guidelines and regulations, copyright law, the Library Bill of Rights, and the American Library Association's Code of Ethics.
• Other duties as assigned by the summer school coordinator and the District Library Media Facilitator.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Salary Range: $31.25 per hour (8 hrs. per day from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

Length of Contract: June 6, 2022, through July 15, 2022

EVALUATION:

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Certified Personnel.
