We're looking for a fully remote Tax Supervisor / Manager / Senior Manager. We are a mid / large public accounting firm based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Ideal candidates will be on the East Coast - EST - Timezone.

Our current partners are a mix of talent from large and small firms and like to hire based on technical skills / experience. We're targeting anyone that is on the East Coast ideally.

Essential Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Lead and manage complex tax compliance engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards, within budget and deadline expectations
• Identify and respond to client issues in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner.
• Manage expectations effectively through clear and continuous communication with the client
• Communicate advice and answer questions of other associates relating to clients' accounting and tax situations
• Participate in and provide leadership for firm initiatives and projects
• Plan and schedule engagements with clients and firm resources
• Perform detailed reviews of tax workpapers and provision calculations completed by other associates
• Consult with office personnel on unusual client tax problems; diagnose client needs and work to satisfy those needs
• Communicate proactively with clients and engagement partners regarding project status, client service opportunities, and other significant matters in a timely manner
• Review financial statements and footnotes, management reports, executive reports, and other requested deliverables
• Provide training, direction, and supervision to staff, senior accountants, and managers

Qualifications:

• 5+ years solid experience in corporate, partnerships and individual compliance.
• BS and/or Masters in Accounting or related field of study.
• Must be a CPA · Superb communications skills (written and verbal). · Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Able to problem solve and think both creatively and logically

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
