Systems Engineer III, 366 Job at Naval Systems, Inc.
Description: This position will serve as the Systems Engineer Team Lead for the upcoming PMW 740 Integrated Support Services (IISS) task order work. The candidate will be able to demonstrate experience performing C4I Systems Integration with complex System of System (SoS) Architectures. Demonstrate experience in conducting requirements definition and analyses to develop SOWs/PWSs, Specifications, and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs). Will have experience participating in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) events such as Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Systems Operational Verification Tests (SOVTs), and other SETR events. The candidate will be able to demonstrate experience with engineering resource management and coordinating across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to meet project timelines, working with OCONUS in Security Cooperation efforts or for foreign customers (i.e., not for U.S. military bases or USG facilities), and the ability to lead and manage a technical team. The candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Project).

Experience:
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience as a systems engineer supporting Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience working with Commercial-Off-The Shelf (COTS) and U.S. Government (USG) Program of Record (PoR) systems such as radars, Command and Control (C2), High Frequency (HF)/Very High Frequency (VHF)/Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Line of Sight (LoS) and Satellite Communications, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Tactical Data Links (TDL), Networking, and Coalition information sharing.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience supporting cost estimations for commercial and USG solutions as a technical expert
Desired:
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or Computer Science
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience as a systems engineer
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience supporting SETR events
- Government or Industry equivalent certification such as: Certified PMP; DAWIA Certification (any level); SCWD Certification (any level)
- Demonstrated experience working in multiple austere locations (e.g., in Middle Eastern nations, African nations, or the Pacific rim) to support Security Cooperation efforts or foreign customers (i.e., not for U.S. military bases or USG facilities)
- Demonstrated experience performing foreign disclosure reviews or similar functions such as sanitizing technical documentation
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs)
- Demonstrated experience participating on Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) teams and implementing new processes
- Demonstrated experience interacting with foreign senior military/government officials
