Surveillance Tech Job at Rural King Supply
Overview:
Surveillance Techs are vital members of the Loss Prevention team who utilize technology with critical thinking to provide security for Rural King’s assets.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor camera systems for occurrences of theft, productivity issues, and security policy violations.
- Assist Rural King associates with the use of the camera systems and reviewing video.
- Use specialized reports to review financial transactions to identify discrepancies in a retail environment.
- Maintain the alarm listing for all Rural King locations and assist associates in accessing their alarm.
- Ensure communication with store personnel and increase awareness around Rural King Loss Prevention Initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on daily security incidents.
- Support stores and customers with questions about store policies.
- Review video footage of significant events and provide details to management, human resources, and/or law enforcement.
- Maintain a level of confidentiality when dealing with and sensitive information pertaining to Rural King or it’s Associates.
May be required to cross train and perform other duties.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 years of surveillance experience preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong understanding of retail business practices.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
