The
Oncology Case Manager advocates for RDH members with cancer and works directly with members, internal providers, and outside facilities and providers to obtain quality care at fair rates. Oncology Case Managers will coordinate procedures, infusions, and other specialty services.
SURGERY CASE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cost coordinates the member’s medical needs (e.g. surgical procedures, interventional radiology, infusions).
- Advocate on behalf of the member while working directly with Provider Offices, Hospitals, Medical Facilities, and Anesthesiologists to ensure that member is receiving the fair rate for the above.
- Draft and Deliver Letters of Agreement and send off to necessary facilities.
- Communication via phone and email directly with members to ensure they are updated and feeling confident in our advocacy.
- Answers patient inquiries in an appropriate manner and complies with patient’s needs at all times.
- Performs general office responsibilities, to include typing and answering telephone/client inquiries.

REQUIRMENTS
- 1 Year of experience in a Healthcare Administrative Support role or Case Management -related role, Required. Medical Billing background, preferred.
- 1 year of telephonic outbound with heavy call volume, Preferred.
- 1 year of oncology-related experience.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft word, Excel, and an Electronic Medical Record system, Preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English), Highly Desired
- Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation, Required
