Supply Chain Specialist Job at Sono Bello
Sono Bello is growing and we need a Supply Chain Specialist to support our success! This position will be responsible for engaging with the Growth team to ensure all items and services are in place for the opening of new surgical and consult centers. Our business is dynamic, and we are looking for someone that can thrive in a fast-paced environment and take initiative on improving our processes.
The Supply Chain Specialist will positively impact the patient experience and team member experience by ensuring our vendors deliver the items ordered for each field location. The Supply Chain Specialist also supports timely invoice processing by addressing any issues within the Purchasing System that prevent an invoice from moving through to the Finance System. The Supply Chain Specialist will place purchase orders as necessary for assigned projects and will manage assigned suppliers. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively track item availability and delivery status and resolve issues as needed.
- Maintain strong working relationships and communications with suppliers to address back orders, substitutions, discontinuations, damages, and returns.
- Monitor & resolve procurement-related errors in matching purchase orders, receipts, and invoices and reduce error rate so that invoices flow through the Purchasing System to be paid by the Finance Team.
- Review and approve orders placed by the field in the Purchasing System (Envi).
- Measure and manage supplier performance for assigned suppliers.
- Understand department priorities and objectives while supporting field locations and business growth.
- Additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a buyer/planner in medical (preferred), retail, grocery, restaurant, or similar.
- 2 years of experience as a buyer/planner in a multi-unit or multi-location environment.
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional Supply Manager (CPSM) certification desired.
- Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial, proactive, and innovative mindset.
- Ability to maintain ethical and professional relations with suppliers.
- Proven skills in working independently inclusive of self-motivation.
- Possess excellent time management, communication, decision making, and presentation skills.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work at corporate office in Kirkland WA a minimum of 2 days per week
