We are growing! Kohler just announced a new 1 million-square-foot manufacturing facility on 200 acres in the industrial corridor of Casa Grande, AZ. We are looking for passionate talent to join our leadership team. This role will be based at our Casa Grande facility once it is open. The role will work hybrid or fully remote leading up to the opening.

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the supply chain and materials management function relating to the Planning, procurement, storage, Inventory control, and distribution of products to meet the operational execution, fulfillment, and working capital goals of the company. Also responsible for directing and administering raw material/component procurement, Planning using Integrated Business Planning methodologies, Inventory Accuracy, and Shipping/Receiving and Warehousing.

• Sets the vision for the department and is ultimately accountable for the performance of the plant supply chain and its team.
• Manage directly and through supervisory employees, the planning, procurement, storage, inventory control, and distribution of material and products.
• Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements while minimizing carrying costs and premium transportation charges. Identifies and resolves shortages.
• Manage and coach subordinates on performance and career paths, ensuring development, integrity, and resiliency in the supply chain areas.
• Implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and Kaizen initiatives to align and drive KOS strategies across the supply chain areas and functions.
• Oversees and ensures proper production control planning and scheduling programs to meet sales forecasts and balance labor and machine capacity. Accountable for executing the Master
• Works in conjunction with the Purchasing team to oversee the purchasing or contracting of materials, supplies, equipment, and services for the operation of the plant, executing the strategic purchasing vision determined by the Purchasing team.
• Develops, establishes, and maintains reporting systems related to the supply chain functions.
• Owns and leads the receiving, the proper storage of purchased parts and finished goods, inventory control, material conveyance, and shipping functions and teams, maintaining optimal inventory accuracy to meet the business needs.
• Customer service with delivery greater than 95% on-time in full.
• Develops and maintains operating budgets with assistance from the Vikrell finance team to establish the cost for operating accounts, review and analyze monthly reports of same take necessary action as required.
• Responsible for developing capital budgets, plan replacement, project the equipment, staffing, facilities requirements, new capital requirements needed for current and future projects in all supply chain areas to meet projected levels of operation and inventories.

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a management-related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with proven results in materials control, production control, inventory control, and shipping/receiving and warehousing.
• Knowledge of the practical application of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement certification or equivalent experience necessary to succeed in this role.
• Expertise in SAP for Logistics, Production Planning, Materials Management, and WM.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and process improvement approach.
• Provides the best services possible, yearns for the best outcome, is curious and takes ownership.
• Must have strong, demonstrated leadership competencies.
