Supply Chain Command Center Lead Analyst Job at Navistar, Inc.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking Supply Chain Command Center Lead Analyst to join our Navistar Procurement team. This role will allow supply chain professionals to apply and enhance their critical problem solving and leadership skill in managing critical supply chain challenges for the Service and Aftermarket business unit [$2.1B+ in revenue].
Responsibilities:
This position will help execute the implementation of supplier development strategies to significantly improve Navistar global supply base, including support of critical supplier capacity, manufacturing, supply chain and delivery issues to ensure the continuity of supply to our customers. Additionally, the position provides a critical role proactive supplier readiness for volume increases, product launches and alternative souring strategies.
  • Actively engage with Navistar suppliers and supply chains and drives actions to resolve the root cause of low performance
  • Actively engage with Navistar supplier development team and key support functions including supply chain, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, service, and quality to address supplier capacity, manufacturing and supply chain constraints
  • Collaborates and support Navistar manufacturing plants and service organization on major supplier issues. On site supplier problem solving support as needed. Ensure timely implementation of permanent corrective actions and resolution
  • Provides project management and back office support as needed. Responsible for monitoring and reporting project progress, along with eliminating barriers to project success
  • Develops, maintains and communicates executive level reporting metrics and plans related to high risk supplier and supply chain situation
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years of purchasing/procurement experience
OR
  • Master's degree
OR
  • At least 4 years of purchasing/procurement experience
Additional Requirements:
Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

  • Strong IT skills working in several current and developing systems including Microsoft Excel, Power point, Word, Power BI
