The Buckeye Ranch is looking for Summer Group Assistants to work alongside out School Based Program throughout the 2023 summer including a mandatory training on June 9, 2023. With normal programming being from June 20, 2023 - July 14, 2023, from 8:30am - 1:30pm.

Flat Rate: $20/ hour - Paid out in one lump sum at the end of the groups via check.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assist school-based clinicians in engagement of students and teachers in dialectical behavioral therapy groups.

• Participate in games and learning activities to encourage group participation
• Collaborate with school-based clinician and teachers regarding group dynamics
• Interact with students providing feedback regarding learning objectives
• Help organize and transport group materials for groups
• Ensure adequate materials are present for groups
• Participate in training to help with groups

MANDATORY TRAININGS/ SCHEDULING

• Mandatory training date: June 9th: 12pm-4pm
• Optional assistance dates to organize materials between June 14th - 16th: finalized closer to start date
• Mandatory attendance of groups: June 20th – July 14th from approximately 8:30am - 1:30pm

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma/ GED; Required.
• Social Work/ Mental Health/ Sociology/ Psychology career tracks; preferred
• Must be 21 years of age
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License;
