Position Purpose:

Responsible to assist the Live Production Manager (LPM) for all live production filming (i.e. visual, lighting, switching, signal routing, media management, etc.) for streaming events in the Studio, specifically including, Andrew Wommack's Live Bible Study (Monday evenings) and Truth and Liberty Coalition Livestreams (Tuesday evenings). The support of the Livestream production model with equipment, routing, switching, etc. is critical. Calm seamless proficiency in live broadcast-style production is key.

Essential Duties:

  • Help Produce the weekly LIVE productions (with live audience participation), pre-recorded webcasts and video conferencing (Andrews Live casts to other countries), and workflows to interactive websites (such as Facebook), apps and distribution outlets (such as GTTV and ROKU)
  • Work with the Production and Events Team to execute live filming, green screen, and studio productions, including lighting, signal processing, switching, networking, patching, etc.
  • Operate multimedia equipment such as Cameras, Jib, Teleprompter, Lights, Switcher, etc., and ensure high production quality
  • Operate technical positions such as Video Shading, Image Capture and Annotation Presentation Technology, Clips Operator, Audio Assist, Playback, Replay, Switching, Able to Direct Live Cutting and Camera Movements, Technical Director, Graphics Operator, Social Media Monitor
  • Responsible for post-event editing, processing, uploading, and following established archiving and formatting guidelines for video segments
  • Ensure all aspects of the live-streaming equipment meet technical best practices; Perform pre-event checks, and confirm that video content is online, available, and airs as scheduled without delay
  • Ensure all content on various platforms meets quality expectations; Ensure technical success for all FB life broadcasts the ability to produce clean, seamless, and compelling visuals is a key component of success
  • Monitor, maintain, and control the outgoing signal and computer program that drives the live feed
  • Fix, troubleshoot, and debug any live streaming issues and provide root cause analyses for all major issues; Identify technical issues and addresses them internally or through vendors
  • Connect professionally with LPM to receive the most up-to-date schedule, products, materials, PPTs, and other visual aids required during the event
  • Participate in the planning meetings for all future Live events
  • Other duties as necessary or assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Troubleshooting experience in a Live environment where timing is critical; the ability to rapidly respond to issues that unexpectedly arise on air is necessary to remain calm in highly fluid and stressful situations where you may run across unexpected problems
  • Must know Video Encoding Technologies and Internet protocols
  • Understand lighting, color temperatures, ability to manipulate artificial light sources
  • Understand live video/audio production content and with network-based capture, broadcast, and input applications preferred with Blackmagic ATEM, Ultimatte, and Ursa Mini knowledge
  • Must have practical knowledge of audio/video signals digital characteristics, compression and conversion techniques
  • Must be comfortable on microphone moderating and counting in and out of live/virtual events
  • Knowledge of Green Screen chroma keying techniques in a Multicam camera environment to best showcase Livestream; A strong eye for framing and composition of a setting
  • Must be proficient with MAC and PC Systems and Editing Software, especially with Adobe Creative Cloud Package: Premiere Pro, Encore, Photoshop, After Effects, and Microsoft Office
  • Versed with audio mixing and video hardware including patch bays, multi-tracking recordings/editing
  • Experience with lighting, color temperatures, and ability to manipulate artificial light sources
  • Knowledgeable of Social Media and Internet Applications and Protocols (IPTV)
  • Excellent attention to detail, multitasking, and planning skills needed
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly Responsible, Punctual, and Dependable are crucial
  • Must be available to work evenings; Able to lift 50lbs; Able to climb up 15 Ladder

Requirements:

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus
  • Must sign The Statement of Faith
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required
  • Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred
  • Must pass all required checks

Experience:

  • 2-Years’ Experience in a Live Production Environment or relevant work experience
  • 2-Years’ Experience in Television and/or Streaming Operations
  • Experience with Video Encoding Technologies and Internet protocols
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience
