Student Recruitment / Admissions Coordinator -

Position Summary: The Student Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing the schools student recruitment strategy, including developing and implementing a recruitment plan and providing resources and information to assist in moving prospective students to enrolled student status. The position can office based or virtual from home

Responsibilities:

Provide and undertake operational policies and procedures necessary to effectively deliver educational services to students and monitor compliance with these policies and procedures.

Promote the value of education and of Citizens' High School to prospective and current and prospective students, parents and client organizations /associations.

Ensure all current and prospective client service requests and concerns are expediently addressed

Conversant with education based management systems operations ( SIS / LMS and their applications and ability to administer and manage all aspects of student accounts within student information system (Genius) and learning management system (Canvas)

Evaluating students' transcripts and verifying the acceptance of credits for previous high school studies.

Provide operational policies and procedures necessary to effectively deliver administrative services to students and to monitor compliance with these policies and procedures as it relates to admissions, student records and accrediting body standards.

Work in conjunction with CHS’s Academic, Sales and Marketing departments to assist in the ongoing mission to constantly improve the institutional goal of providing exemplary customer service.

Facilitate and coordinate the educational programs of students as they relate to outside agencies, schools, businesses and the military.

Assist students in appropriate course placement according to their program of study

Work in a key support role to Director of Strategic Initiatives and Director of Marketing assisting them in designing social media marketing outreach and associated functions to improve overall client satisfaction.

Job Qualifications and Related Experience

Solid track record as a student recruiter for a for profit secondary or post secondary education institution

Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Solid consumer related sales skills

Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.

Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.

Ability to analyze course prerequisites, certification, and/or curriculum/graduation requirements.

Skill in the configuration and use of computerized database platforms ( Canvas LMS and Genius SIS ) .

Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.

Salary

$37,000 + Generous Benefits Package
