A bit more about this role:
As the Stars Clinical Senior Program Manager at Devoted you’ll be an integral part of developing and executing on the strategy for Star Rating performance across all Devoted Health plans. In other words you’ll be key to making sure Devoted delivers on its mission to treat every member like family - by ensuring that we’re achieving the best clinical outcomes for our members. This role will be responsible for developing, executing and refining strategies for each of our Clinical Star Measures (including HEDIS, Part D, and SNP measures). This will include partnering with internal clinical teams and external vendor partners to ensure our programs are achieving our goals. The Clinical Manager will also help bring rigor to analyzing which programs are most effective at achieving our desired goals. This role will be empowered with remarkable amounts of data to explore to identify insights and opportunities for performance improvements.
Responsibilities will include:

Drive the development and execution of high-priority stars strategy initiatives critical to the company’s success of achieving top clinical outcomes and 5-Star targets

Program management of internal programs and external clinical partners

Evaluate efficacy of current programs using qualitative and quantitative analysis from member-reported insights, clinical outcomes, and financial reports

Dive deep into nuances of stars performance across different markets and help develop strategies and programs to match those needs

Help drive goal-setting across all markets and help prioritize when interventions are required

Support Stars team in developing long term strategy to drive Devoted to be a nationally scalable 5-star plan

Communication skills: conversational agility expertise demonstrated by the ability to reframe, refocus, and redirect conversations to realize accretive partnerships and desired outcomes. Additionally, this individual needs to be able to condense complex concepts into simple explanations with clear and concise calls to action

Organization skills: super organized with an eye for detail and the ability to understand and document what matters. Staying organized is a critical component of being able to pivot between going deep into the details and stepping back to see themes or levers that inform strategy.

Resourceful self-starter: ability to see where unaddressed problems lie and quickly build toward a solution. Can-do attitude, adaptable, and stamina for tackling hard and ever-changing challenges.

Analytical horsepower: leveraging data to formulate insights. This includes manipulating and understanding data to craft data-driven messages, as well as thinking of new ways to draw insights from data.
Desired skills and experience:

6+ years of experience in healthcare setting

Experience driving results and influencing across a wide array of priority stakeholders

Operations experience related to driving performance

Ability to work in a startup, fast paced environment

Track record of success delivering elegant solutions to complex problems

Hands on experience with program management

Experience with Medicare Advantage Star Rating programs a plus, but not required
