About CERTD
Pervasive employee turnover of over 50% and a tight labor market have stressed organizations employing manual, skilled trade, and artisan workers. These companies need help finding talent, and as a second-order effect they have to hire employees with less skill and knowledge. This results in lower productivity, more workplace accidents, and strain on internal resources to onboard and train new employees.
CERTD has developed a new and innovative mobile-centric microlearning platform to train and upskill employees in skilled labor and service-oriented jobs to solve this pain. The platform features skills-based competency assessments and a personalized education engine to provide learning plans for new hires and existing employees to ensure job readiness.

As Chief Growth Officer, you will lead & own:
- Initial and ongoing Go-to-Market plan through the initial launch
- Identify and match initial use cases and trials with repeatable verticals and initial targeting
- Create resource/headcount plan for marketing and sales for CERTD over a two-year horizon post launch
- Attract talent from both in and outside of your network consistent with our business plan and market approach
The most competitive candidates will have the following qualifications:
Substantial and meaningful leadership experience selling Learning solutions, including but not limited to:
- Building and leading a sales team, preferably in an early-stage startup environment, personally engage in key account sales and ongoing customer success.
- Designing, executing, and measuring sales and marketing campaigns, growing a consumption-based business; developing and understanding marketing and sales metrics
- Developing and optimizing sales pipeline and forecast process with a focus on predictability.
- Demonstrated experience with data management and analysis, trends and demands, adjusting strategy, budget, product, and content as needed; creating data-driven programs to drive company strategy.
Player/coach - strong entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build, improve, sell alongside and mentor a team with a high level of energy and drive; greatly want to use your experience and resources to help build a start-up from the ground up; Identify areas for improvement and proactively implement positive change
No-ego leader; can-do attitude and roll-up-the-sleeves attitude that instills confidence through collaboration and influencing
Gravitas: you carry yourself with confidence and speak clearly, with conviction
