Staff Accountant Job at LHH Recruitment Solutions
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Staff Accountant job opportunity for the corporate office located in Pleasanton, CA. This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have experience working within a government agency and have 5 years of staff or senior level accounting experience. The role will be responsible for processing bank reconciliations, preparing journal entries, accounts payable, allocations, accounts receivable, grant accounting and tracking, sales tax return, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5 years of experience as a Staff/Senior Accountant (Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, General Ledger Accountant)
Compensation: $40.00– $50.00
Employment Type: Temporary (3 months)

Qualifications:
- Strong General Accounting experience (GL, AP, AR)
- Solid knowledge of general accounting knowing your debits and credits (reconciliations & journal entries)
- Industry experience within a government agency would be preferred
- Software experience with Tyler Munis would be nice to have
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Solid communications skills (written & verbal)
- Team player, helpful, willing and quick to learn
- Reliable, dedicated, and a thoughtful decision maker
- Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized
