Sr. Textile Printing Specialist Job at Epson America, Inc
Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality consumer electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is seeking an exceptional Sr. Textile Printing Specialist to join our Monna Lisa Digital Direct-to-Fabric Textile Printing team. You will be responsible for demonstrating Epson Monna Lisa products to customers to promote sales in North America. This position will be based out of our Los Alamitos, CA office and we are willing to provide relocation assistance for your move.
Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performs technical sales support duties in coordination with territory sales managers and others, at Epson facilities, trade shows, events or at customer’s place of business and maintains equipment and accessories
- Explains features to customers, answers customer's questions about product and demonstrates use of product both virtually and in-person
- Operates and maintains all equipment used in digital direct-to-fabric pigment ink printing workflow (including pre and post treatment equipment)
- Completes customer print samples (including pre and post workflow processes)
- Interfaces with partners as needed to complete specialized fabric treatments
- Performs job costing calculations that are critical to understand ROI
- Complies with fabric testing procedures, including technical documentation
- Understands the various workflows (RIP, color management, pre-treatment, and post-treatment) critical to customer success in target markets
- Analyzes fabrics and makes recommendations to test / qualify fabrics for various customer applications
- Develops tools for communicating print capabilities of the Monna Lisa to new prospects
- Conducts analytical experiments related to: print quality, durability, fabric feeding and others
- Provides input on product technical documentation, support product information, and user manuals
- Keeps inventory of consumables and may suggest product improvements
- Trains other demonstrators
Travel
- Up to 25%
What You Will Bring:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in the printing industry, ideally with digital direct-to-fabric printing
- Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.)
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $88,612 and $114,674. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
