Sr. Product Marketing Manager - Foodservice (Hybrid)

Position Overview:

The marketing vision at Johnsonville is creating a world-class brand that drives success for our customers, drives innovation in the marketplace, and delivers an exceptional financial return. As the Sr. Product Manager for Foodservice, you will own the development, forecasting, marketing, and strategy for products sold to our Foodservice and C-store customers.


Flexible Work Schedule:
Opportunity for Hybrid schedule after training; Summer Hours Available Memorial Day through Labor Day (half day Fridays)


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of annual product strategy planning and setting the longer-term vision and roadmap for core categories as well as identifying new innovation within our foodservice channels and segments (C-store & Traditional Foodservice) to drive future growth
  • Ownership of the P&L, pricing and promotional strategy, forecasting, budget / plan, capital recommendations, sku rationalization, supply chain coordination, overall marketing and competitive assessment for core products
  • Conduct monthly business review and leverage data and information from a wide variety of sources to drive revenue and profit growth on core categories
  • Develop strategic positioning and marketing launch support for new product launches to drive growth. Partner with channel marketing team, sales and external partners (agencies and vendors) to create support tools including, customer presentations, merchandising and sales presentations ensuring products and programs deliver on both operator and consumer needs.
  • Work collaboratively with various cross-functional team members including R&D, project managers, culinary, channel marketing, sales, finance and demand planning.
  • Act as a leader within the company


Education:

  • BS / BA Degree in Marketing or Business required; MBA preferred


Experience:

  • Minimum 5 - 10 years experience in the foodservice industry in a product or channel marketing role with a manufacturer (food experience preferred)


Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical communication and interpersonal skills along with the proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Strong presentations skills including to internal teams, senior leadership, brokers and customers
  • Proven project management experience to organize, prioritize and deliver on commitments
  • Strong financial and business acumen including data analysis and using market research tools (ie. NPD, Datassentials)
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools

Global Headquarters, Sheboygan Falls, WI - Hybrid (in office & remote)

(Our office is about an hour north of Milwaukee and an hour south of Green Bay)

(We don’t have bosses at Johnsonville. We have Coaches. They are there to help you develop your talents. They cannot make you run laps.)

Travel:
About 10% of your time
