COMP: Up to $100,000
LOCATION: Richmond, IN
Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in the search for a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply design techniques using knowledge of mechanical elements.
- Create detailed drawings using CAD Software (preferably SolidWorks & DraftSight).
- Engage in design confirmation activities including simulations, FEA, and animations.
- Create technical documentation for equipment operation designed for instruction manuals.
- Create sequence of events and powered element charts.
- Engage in debug and development activities.
- Assume a lead design role on projects, coordinating and leading multiple designers simultaneously.
- Engage in continuous improvement strategies.
- 10+ years’ experience as Mechanical Engineering Designer.
- 5+ years’ experience in Pneumatics and Automation.
- 5+ years working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experienced with Epicor, FEA and Solidworks.
