Job Title: Lacquer Sprayer
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares surfaces for lacquer, sprays lacquer on instruments and parts.
- Materials, supplies, components, and instruments must be moved from previous or moved to subsequent
- production operations.
- Work procedures for these operations must follow standardized methods in a clearly prescribed sequence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Required to follow prescribed material handling methods, and to move instruments and components to assigned
- areas.
- Required to mix and spray lacquer on surfaces of various instruments and parts using a hand operated spray gun.
- Ability to adjust air and nozzle opening for efficient operation.
- Must clean and maintain the spray gun.
- Required to maintain an appropriate, clean, and safe work environment.

PRE-DETERMINED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Regular Attendance.
- Manufacturing Process Aptitude.
- Requires a high degree of skill and dexterity.
- Ability to make sound judgment based on consistent and objective measures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Position requires ability to stand for 8 consecutive hours, including lifting and maneuvering instruments to an overhead conveyor.
- Ability to visually inspect all instrument surfaces.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Required to properly dispose of or recycle any scrap material generated by any assigned production operation, and are required to maintain an appropriate, clean, and safe work environment.
- Exposure to manufacturing environment, including dust, noise, and vibration.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
