Speech Language Pathologist - California
We are currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in California. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with communication impairments. This position is a full-time, 37.5 hour per week position during the school year, and includes extended school year (ESY) and non-extended school year (NSY) services.
Duties:
Evaluate students' language, speech, and other communication abilities through testing, observation, and interviews
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide individual and group therapy services
Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure best practices
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided
Requirements:
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Current license in the State of California as a Speech Language Pathologist
Previous experience providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to children with communication impairments
Knowledge of best practices and evidence-based treatment approaches
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ESY dates: 6/12-7/7
NSY dates: 8/8-May 24
