Speech Language Pathologist

Full-time SLPs are eligible for a $1,500 bonus payable after 6 months of employment.

Woodfords is seeking a dynamic individual to work as either a full-time or part-time Speech Language Pathologist to positively impact the lives of children ages 2 to 10 with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities at our Pineland Campus Preschool & Special Purpose Private School that serves children in Preschool and Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, year round

Pay: Salary starts at $54,000 annually for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist. Salary commensurate with experience.

Speech Language Pathologist Role:

• Work directly with preschool and K-5 students
• Conduct speech evaluations as necessary for initial placements and ongoing progress assessments
• Develop Plans of Care for each individual student and provide written quarterly reports and discharge reports
• Provide information, direction, and guidance on speech therapy goals to school staff, and supervise any speech assistants in accordance with requirements outlined by the Maine Board of Examiners on Speech Language Pathology
• Work independently with students and cooperatively with a team of like-minded coworkers
• Schedule is Monday through Friday

Key Qualifications of a Speech Pathologist:

• Must have a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/Communication Disorders with current, valid, Certificate of Clinical Competence or appropriate completion of clinical fellowship
• Must possess good organization, communication and interpersonal skills
