Specialist- Billing Job at Warehouse Specialists, LLC
We are hiring a Contract Billing Specialist who has the responsibility to ensure accurate processing of weekly and monthly invoicing for our largest customers. Interaction with local facility management, payroll, and accounts payable is required for success. This full-time hourly position will report to the Controller and may occasionally require weekends, holidays, and overtime.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manage the cost inputs related to various customer contracts.
- Prepare Invoices using data from payroll and accounts payable.
- Timely submission of invoice information into customer portals where required.
- Work with local management in support of customer accrual requirements.
- Analyze trends and work with directors and operations support on matters requiring contract interpretation.
- Coordinate with fleet management, IT, and safety regarding support costs, damage, and repairs.
- Potentially other support functions within the Home Office.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Ability to communicate with employees, operational personnel, and customer analysts.
- Solid computer skills, including working knowledge of spreadsheets and MS Office.
- Ability to work as part of a team toward shared objectives.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting environment.
- Familiar with general accounting concepts and time-sensitive work.
- Associate’s Degree preferred.
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use hands and fingers for computer keyboarding, and answer phone calls.
- Ability to communicate via the telephone using speaking and hearing skills.
