Position Summary:

The Spa Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of all areas in the Spa, while providing excellent customer service to our Spa Guests. The Spa Supervisor is also charged with ensuring any guest situation is resolved in a timely manner. The Spa Supervisor will work in conjunction with Operations Manager and General Manager to ensure that guests receive the highest level of Hospitality while at the Spa at Piaule Catskill.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Greet, Check-in, and Check-out all Piaule Spa guests
• Maintain the Spa email and handle guest and contractor inquiries in a timely manner
• Assist all contractors with booking and troubleshooting of the Spa software
• Work productively without supervision when performing routine daily tasks
• Manage all Spa linen and towels
• Be the point of contact for all third party contractors that work in the spa
• Act as resident expert in booking software for the Spa
• Assist guests and team members with Spa / WAY billing inquiries, questions, and concerns
• Be a reliable problem solving resource and authority that team members can depend on
• Act as an ambassador of Piaule to ensure all guests receive unparalleled hospitality
• Maintain effective communication with all Guest Services Agents, Housekeeping, and other department’s team members
• Be the expert on all Spa tasks, duties, and expectations
• Exhibit a high level of knowledge of the local area including dining, recreation and attractions
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the property, amenities and Piaule as a brand
• Complete Incident Reports immediately following any incident on property
• Conduct routine inspections of the Spa, addressing any potential safety hazards and cleanliness issues
• Be accessible to guests; listen to their concerns and ideas, interpret their needs, convey understanding, resolve concerns, and pass along information to the management team
• Be accommodating of a schedule that will consist of morning, afternoon, evening, weekend and/or holiday shifts
• Perform any and all duties as required as Piaule develops and changes over time.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in Spa/Hotels/Resorts , boutique property desired.
• Strong verbal and written skills, English and Spanish is a plus.
• Be self-motivated and have the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Dress appropriately for the the position and maintain proper personal hygiene.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Computer skills; including Google Docs and Sheets.
• Be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Be able to spend long periods of time on feet.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year Spa Experience

Required Skills:

• Strong computer experience; including Google Docs and Sheets.
• Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively work with multiple teams across the property to respond to to business needs.
• Strong organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

• Must have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to spend long periods of time on feet.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
