How You Will Help
  • Partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to design technical solutions for our most strategic and innovative customers
  • Drive decision-making and alignment across a wide range of teams to remove barriers and close new business opportunities
  • Solve critical business needs for our customers to ensure long-term success and engagement
  • Inform product roadmap and business strategy better to meet the evolving needs of customers and the market

What You Will Do
  • Own the pre-sales development and documentation of complex SaaS configurations and technical solutions
  • Build strategic relationships with clients as their primary technical resource throughout the sales cycle
  • Understand the customer’s business needs and use case to develop creative solutions that drive satisfaction and lead to long-term engagements
  • Provide guidance and expertise to clients as they make internal decisions regarding their technology stack and configuration for the use of HealthVerity products
  • Support strategic decisions on new product/feature development and commitment to internal resources
  • Work with internal teams to determine the level of effort and pricing for novel workflows and configurations
  • Draft contract language and solution diagrams for non-standard engagements
  • Drive decision-making and alignment across sales, engineering, product, and leadership teams to close the deal
  • Lead internal initiatives to speed up the sales process, improve documentation, and ensure seamless transitions to post-sale customer teams

About You
  • A creative problem solver who loves working with clients to address their most complex technical challenges
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare IT space and a passion for designing novel solutions to the industry’s most pressing needs
  • Ability to quickly dissect a technology stack and understand its strengths and limitations
  • Excellent listener who can easily identify a customer’s use case and translate business needs into tangible solutions
  • Expert communicator across all audiences and levels of technical expertise
  • Excellent attention to detail with an appreciation for process and documentation
  • A team player who thrives in a kind and collaborative environment
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and resourceful in navigating uncharted territory

Relevant Skills and Experience
  • College graduate with 5+ years of work experience; advanced training or degree in business, computer science, data science, informatics, statistics, or public health a plus
  • Prior experience in a technical pre-sales role (e.g., sales engineering, solutions architect) for B2B SaaS products
  • Expert knowledge and deep experience within the healthcare industry and data ecosystem; direct experience working with large healthcare datasets a plus
  • Strong track record of playing the lead technical role in closing large enterprise deals
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and experience collaborating with senior executive stakeholders
  • Skilled at using Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence, and LucidChart or similar software
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of SQL, Python, Databricks, Airflow, ETL processes, and AWS environments
Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $140,000 -200,000 + annual bonus opportunity.
