Software Engineer 2
The Software Engineer level 2 will work on a team responsible for full lifecycle development of ZOLL’s web and enterprise applications. In this role, this individual will develop web applications, APIs and data integrations for the ZOLL Billing product.The candidate will interact with a cross functional team within ZOLL, from understanding customer needs through to release and support.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of product delivery, including planning, design, development, code reviews, testing and support.

• Work with the Product team, stakeholders, UX, QA and other engineers to create effective solutions

• Develop and evaluate code, and implement testing to ensure code is valid, properly structured, and performs optimally

• Evaluate and provide recommendations for improvements to features, functionality, architecture, design, and performance

• Adhere and contribute to established ZOLL engineering standards for software development, database access, documentation, and automation

• Refactor code where appropriate to achieve readability, maintainability, and scalability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology field or equivalent experience

• 3+ years experience in a professional software development environment

• Demonstrated proficiency in React (or other JS frameworks), C# and SQL

• Experience with object-oriented design

• Familiarity with Agile development principles

• Strong desire to understand the business problems that our technology is created to solve

• Communicates openly and honestly and respects the variety of personality styles that make up the team

• Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to use a variety of tools and techniques to determine root causes

• Exposure to cloud computing platforms (AWS) is a bonus

Salary for this position is $110,000-$120,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
