Job Description Summary:
The entry-level Social Media and Influencer Marketing Associate will support the B2C Marketing team to increase brand awareness and create content with external agency. This position will focus on working with all categories, including makeup, hair products, appliances, nail products, and fake lashes. This role is essential to maintaining an elevated brand aesthetic, persona and voice on social media platforms. The Social Media/Influencer Marketing Associate will create campaigns and identify talents with external agency to promote new product launches and increase brand awareness. This position will work closely with the external agency and the Consumer Marketing Associate in actively developing the visibility of all brands through social media.
Job Description:
Core Responsibilities
- Assist B2C Marketing Team in day-to-day agency relationships and keeping them accountable for strategic objectives and KPIs
- Collect and monitor feed back on internal and external communications campaigns and suggest improvements where possible
Social Media Marketing
- Work with the B2C Marketing team and external agency to develop strategic, engaging and consumer-friendly content for social media platforms
- Lead and participate in conversations with external agency
- Oversee social media content calendar for all brands and provide timely, accurate, and appropriate feedback to external agency
- Oversee social media ads (YouTube, Facebook and Instagram) and manage Facebook Business Manager
- Assist external agency and internal creative team with planning campaigns, seasonal and evergreen social strategies
- Strong understanding of social media space, conversations, and trends
- Work with external agency to create copy for social media campaigns using each brand’s voice and persona to ensure that we are pushing out engaging and relevant content to our audience
Influencer Marketing
- Support implementation of influencer marketing campaigns and strategies
- Build relationships with influencers for earned and owned content
- Attend photoshoots for new launches and give input on content needed
- Implement and reach out to Influencers to create campaigns with and build brand ambassador and affiliate programs
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of social media space, conversations, and trends
- Strong copywriting and communication/collaborative skills required
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications
- 1-2 years of relevant experience required (internships count)
- Deep and proven knowledge of all aspects of social media and relevant platforms and community management
- Highly detail-oriented
- Be up-to-date with trends and current events
- Bilingual in Korean and English
