Oasis Systems is hiring a Social Media Coordinator to join our Strategic Communication and Digital Content team. LOCATION: Rockville, MD/Remote
JOB STATUS: Full-time
TRAVEL: 10% - 15% (as needed)

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience with social media communications for the government sector
- Knowledge of current advertising, marketing, and design trends
- Independently manage multiple projects from concept to completion – accountability, personal initiative, and integrity
- Ability to take ownership, set priorities, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- In-depth knowledge of best practices for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter platforms
- Proficiency with social media measurement and management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite)
- Prior experience as a Social Media Coordinator/Social Media Specialist
- Experience of marketing on various social media platforms
- Sound knowledge of Google Analytics, keyword research, and SEO techniques
- Ability to generate creative content in the form of text, images, and videos
- Familiarity with online marketing channels as well as current marketing practices
- A keen eye for design and details (typography, form, color, composition, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (In-Design, Photoshop, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Discovering market trends and audience preferences by extensive research
- Creating engaging content in the form of text, images, and videos
- Designing social media posts for creating and sustaining followers’ curiosity
- Monitoring SEO and measuring web traffic
- Staying aware of latest social media trends for ensuring effectiveness
- Suggesting creative ways for attracting prospective candidates
- Overseeing the layout of company’s social media accounts
- Developing an efficient posting schedule after analyzing user engagement and web traffic metrics
- Execute a results-driven social media strategy
- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms
- Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content
- Attend events and produce live social media content
- Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels
- Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
- Review analytics and create reports on key metrics
- Assist with the creation of social media activities including content development and daily management of Facebook, Twitter and other platforms, increasing engagement with diverse audiences, and mitigating risk through planning and policy adherence
- Provide guidance to internal teams on digital strategy and implementation
- Work with multiple team members to recommend, develop, and implement new strategies to achieve organizational objectives relating to digital talent acquisition
- Strategize content for ongoing digital talent acquisition campaigns
- Promote company employer brand through social advertising
- Increase employer brand visibility and expand professional networks across all social platforms
- Create and manage social ad campaigns relating to digital talent acquisitions
- Implement a content editorial calendar
- Monitor, listen and respond to connections in a “Social” way while cultivating relationships
- Plan, coordinate and attend job fairs, events and community functions for candidate generation, exposure and public relations. Create innovative sourcing events to augment candidate flow
- Analyze key metrics and compile reports for management showing results (ROI)
- Ad hoc duties as assigned
