Shop Helper-Grinder Job at Creative Employment Solutions, LLC.
Shift:
- 2nd shift: 2:30 PM – 11 PM
- Monday to Friday. Some Saturdays and Sundays required
Job Description:
- Under direct supervision, perform operations specific to the manufacturing and assembly of fixed cutter drill bits, including general assembly, mold fabrication, and brazing operations.
- Saw, drill, and chip graphite mold and cores away from casting.
- Glass bead blast residual graphite as necessary.
- Prepare bit for braze operation by grinding, polishing, and fitting PDC cutters to pockets.
- Clean, apply flux and thermal blanket to casting, and place in warming furnace to bring a bit to a specified temperature for brazing operation.
- Skills are typically acquired through 1-year of experience in Manufacturing, which includes experience in shop environments.
- Must have basic knowledge of manufacturing and shop work environments
- Experience with hand grinding tools preferred.
- Able to work long hours standing up.
- Labor intensive area.
- The contractor will be using cranes and forklifts
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

- Conroe, TX 77385: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
- overhead crane: 1 year (Required)
- grinding: 1 year (Preferred)
