Shooting Range Maintenance Job at Sacramento Valley Shooting Center
THIS POSITION IS FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY ONLY! 20 HOURS PER WEEK!
The Sacramento Valley Shooting Center, located near Ione/Rancho Murrieta is seeking qualified personnel for the position of Grounds Maintenance. Applicants must have experience with power tools, project building, industrial/home maintenance skills, general landscaping including the use of a weed eater, mower and heavy duty weed control equipment, general industrial/home cleaning and maintenance of restrooms and woodwork.
Due to the nature of our business and the possibility of handling firearms, a good working knowledge of guns and their safe usage is preferred. The applicant should not have any criminal history which prevents them from the handling or possession of firearms. The candidate must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions including rain, high wind and temperate weather. The applicant also must be willing to work 10 hour shifts from 7am to 5pm, including weekends and most holidays with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the range including restrooms.
- Ensuring all areas of the range are in good working order.
- Building of wooden target frames and targets to the range target specifications.
- General Maintenance duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
