Shipping Clerk Job at Staffmark
Manufacturing plant in Pomona is seeking Shipping Clerk. Previous experience is required.
Pay Rate: $20.00/ hour
Shifts: Mon-Fri (Occasional Saturdays and Overtime as needed)
1st: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Daily Job Duties
As their Shipping Clerk, your daily responsibilities include:
JOB SUMMARY
1. Process shipments for domestic & international orders using required documents
2. Schedule pick-ups for both Customer Service Dept and equipment
3. Package small parts to be sipped
4. Maintain, print and distribute daily reports to appropriate departments
COMPETENCIES
1. 4 years experience in manufacturing environment
2. Proficient with computer (Word, Excel, Outlook, M2M is a plus)
3. Hands on experience wit Fed Ex, UPS and International shipments
4. Basic math. Ability to use tape measure, calipers and scale. Valid drivers license
Experience processing shipments for domestic and international orders using the required documents is required. Schedule pick-ups from trucking companies, FedEx etc. Able to package small parts to be shipped. Enter shipments in system to create shippers and packing slips. Maintain, print, and distribute reports to appropriate departments. Coordinate the daily crating schedule of shipment priorities.
