Emerson has a thrilling opportunity for a proficient professional in **Manufacturing & Operations** who desires to expand their career. This role will be based in **Sidney, Ohio** and will involve managing a business unit's daily operations, overseeing CNC equipment, and learning the machining processes within the business unit while ensuring safety, quality, attainment, and costs are maintained.

RESPONSIBILITIES AS CNC TEAM LEAD - 2ND SHIFT:

• Supervise and lead team members in the Business Unit

• Allocate daily tasks

• Manage timekeeping and overtime for employee absences

• Effectively communicate in one on one and start-up meetings

• Handle personnel issues within the workforce

• Ensure area metrics are being met daily; safety, quality, attainment, and costs

• Maintain the 5S program

• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and HR to support the operation

• Assist in facilitating projects within the area or lead the project

• Operate CNC equipment, automation equipment and gaging equipment

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

You are skilled in building effective teams, directing team members' work, ensuring accountability of all team members, collaborating with support teams, and utilizing technical abilities to fulfill department metrics and customer needs.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• One (1) year of related experience or a combination of education and experience equivalent to a two (2) year associate degree.

• Prior supervisory or leadership experience, including coaching, direction, and engagement

• Basic knowledge of Machining practices

• Basic understanding of gaging practices

• Strong analytical, technical, and managerial skills

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and the hourly workforce

• Ability to flex work schedule based on needs of the operation

• Legal authorization to work in the United States - No sponsorship will be provided.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Kronos, and Storeroom Management Systems

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• One to three (1-3) years or more of experience in manufacturing with similar responsibilities

• CNC machining and Automation experience in a production environment

• Four (4) year bachelor's degree.

WORK SCHEDULE:

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM

• $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
