We service Challenger, Eclipse, Falcon, Gulfstream, Hawker, and Learjet aircraft.

Job Title: RECEPTIONIST/SERVICE WRITER
Reports To: SALES MGR Status: Hourly; Nonexempt Shift: Full-time; Dayshift; Weekdays
Job Summary:
The Receptionist/Service Writer is responsible to greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization. Additional responsibilities include translating the customers’ needs into work orders for technicians, preparing quotes for customers and billing customers when the work is completed.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
- Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
- Enters data into Corridor System with accuracy at a rate of 12000 keystrokes per hour (KPH)/45 words per minute (WPM)
- Assist in processing new Service Orders
- Drafts quotes and assists with invoicing customers
- Assist the Sales Manager as needed
- Additional duties as deemed necessary and assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2-plus years of experience in an aviation service writer role strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient computer key boarding skills
- Customer Service experience
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrates willingness and ability to learn and apply new information and skills
- Accurate data entry at a rate of 12000 keystrokes per hour (KPH)/45 words per minute (WPM)
- Demonstrated ability to use tools such as Salesforce and Corridor
- Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
- Frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and smell.
- Occasionally required to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; Over 40 lbs. with assistance.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to Stand/Sit 80% of the time.
- Must be able to walk 10-20% of the time.
- Must be able to Talk/Hear 100% of the time.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds at a time; over 40 lbs. with assistance
- Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate office tools or equipment
