Service Maintenance Technician Job at Mitchell Buick GMC
Mitchell Buick GMC is a family-owned and operated dealership that proudly serves the San Angelo and Concho Valley community in West Texas. We are always seeking qualified, enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team!
Responsibilities
- Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
- Isolate the component that might have caused the problem
- Occasionlly drive the vehicle for testing purposes
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
- Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicles breakdown or damage
- Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Good knowledge of automobiles
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and up
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and depedable
- Basic Computer Skills
- Change Oil and Filter
- Complete Multi Point Vehicle Inspection report
- Rotate and balance tires
- Check air and Repair flat tires
- Replace misc bulbs
- Install wheel/tire packages
- Operate nitogen equipment
- Keep area clean and safe
- Pay is based off Flat Rate Hour depending on experience
Hours 7:30-6:00 Monday - Friday 8:30-4:00 Saturday Lunch Break 12:30-1:30
