SEO Specialist Job at IntelliTalent

We’re seeking an SEO Specialist who would be responsible for managing all SEO activities including but not limited to: content strategy٫link building and keyword strategy.
We want to increase rankings on all major search networks (especially Google) and on our chosen social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) in order drive more traffic to our core service pages and generate more than $10,000/month in revenue
This is a direct placement for Intellitalent.com & for one of our external clients. You will work 100% remotely and directly with 2 CEO's to streamline their online businesses.
30-40hrs per month, 1099-contract
Essential Functions
- Audit our current website (Squarespace for client) content and provide recommendations and strategies for better optimization and search engine results rankings
- Research and identify keywords and content topics for our niche that we should use throughout our website and social media platforms
- Update title tags, meta and page descriptions, blog tags and categories
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Optimize images (update sizing, file name and alt text as needed)
- Conceptualize and execute link building strategy
- Recommend and manage SEO tool(s) needed to track and deliver results.
- Monitor website performance and communicate relevant metrics and recommendations on a weekly basis
- Communicate on Slack regarding feedback, questions, and requested changes we have. We are looking for a quick communication response, within 24 hours of us sending a message, even if it’s just to acknowledge that you’ve seen our message. We typically do not work over the weekend.
- Be available to meet virtually over Google Meet for project overviews and feedback sessions as needed.
Competencies
- Fluent in English
- Proactive communicator. You are someone who lets us know upfront if you need more time or need more instructions in order to complete a task.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent at listening comprehension and explaining recommended strategies. You are the expert but we want to understand the “why” behind recommendations so we can do our best to follow them.
- Attention to detail, especially when updating blogs or other website content with keywords
- Have an easygoing positive vibe that welcomes constructive criticism.
Required Education & Experience
- Proven SEO and SEM experience
- In-depth experience with SQUARESPACE websites
- In-depth experience with Google Analytics
- Working knowledge of HTML٫ CSS٫ and JavaScript
- Experience using Google Drive
- Experience using Slack as the primary communication tool
Portfolio with proven results is a plus!
