W Talent Group's client seeks a Senior Tax Accountant candidate with solid recent public tax & accounting skills to join their team. We are seeking a high-energy individual who can help service our firm's clients. Applicant should be focused, analytical, able to multi-task, and follow-thru independently. Computer and communication skills are a must.

Senior Tax Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or in Business with an emphasis in Accounting) from an accredited college or university
- CPA certification a plus, but not required
- 3 - 5 years of post-graduate tax or accounting experience is preferred
- Recent experience with individual and small business clients
Senior Tax Accountant Job Duties:
- Prepares and reviews individual and corporate federal, state, and local tax returns, extensions, projections and quarterly payments.
- Provides quarterly and year-end tax planning and recommends tax strategies.
- Identifying areas of tax savings.
- Extensive use of Quickbooks and Tax Software
- Regular communication with clients.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Able to correspond with taxing authorities to resolve tax matters.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
