Senior Tax Accountant Job at McDavid, Jones & Company, CPAs
Growing public accounting firm in North Florida is hiring a Senior Tax Accountant to work with interesting clients in a variety of industries on a permanent and/or seasonal basis. The right candidate for this position will possess experience in all types of tax preparation.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns;
- Assist in researching and drafting memorandum involving complex tax matters; and
- Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines.
Requirements:
- CPA certification is preferred;
- Minimum 2-5 years of public accounting experience;
- Excellent analytical and technical tax skills;
- Knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for tax clients;
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making ability; and
- Desire to work with a seasoned tax team to further develop advanced skills.'
