Job Purpose

The Senior SAP Architect will have a critical role moving our organization forward to SAP S4 HANA.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with customer to design and understand business requirements and collect relevant information needed to build customer specific solutions.
• Provide leadership in planning / sequencing of customer workshops, conduct workshops and support facilitation of same.
• Provide advisory and assessment services to customers for their S/4HANA journey.
• Maintains configuration and support of best practices based on chemical industry standards and conduct workshops and with businesses to resolve business requests
• Engage with business users during requirement analysis, fit-gap analysis, and solution design. Co-ordinate with process owners and sub-process owners during solution acceptance with focus on end-to-end processes and integrations
• Support and provide inputs for cutover, migration, testing, training related strategies.

Requirements

• Recent experience in S/4 HANA Implementation / System Conversion / Transformation
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in at least 2 of the end-to-end business processes in SAP - Order to Cash, Plan to Inventory, Plan to Produce, or Procure to Pay, which includes 4 years in SAP S/4 HANA.
• Minimum 3 Years’ experience in leading teams.
• Demonstrated experience of successfully leading design workshops across multiple end to end business processes (e.g. Order to Cash, Plan to Inventory, Plan to Produce, or Procure to Pay) during explore / build phase
• Proficiency in business process knowledge and configuration in S/4HANA for majority of the non-finance modules (MM, PP, SD, QM, PM) and extended enterprise / integrated application) and deep understanding of integration across Sales, Supply Chain and logistics processes, Finance, and non-SAP applications
• Minimum 3 full lifecycle implementations/roll outs & support experience in ECC / S/4 HANA
• Ability to design SAP solutions covering both functional and technical aspects
• Excellent communication skills and should be able to collaborate and present to the management team

Additional Skills

• Understanding of SAP Best Practices within multiple modules & integrations
• Experience with Chemical / Specialty Chemical Industry
• Certified in at least 1 SAP S/4 HANA
• Ability to manage and deliver multiple priorities in a constrained timeline
• Leadership skills with ability to influence and negotiate internal and external stakeholders
• Should be proficient in conversation on wide ranging topics relating to supply chain, sales order processing, intercompany, with logistics, supply chain, customer service users, vertical heads, controller / CFO, IT heads,
• Work effectively in multiple time zones with global teams
• Knowledge of new features in SAP S/4HANA – embedded analytics, user experience using Fiori, S/4HANA conversion and pre-requisites, S/4HANA simplification and business impact, SAP cloud platform
