Senior Program Data Manager- Homelessness and Mental Health

Preferred applicants will live in California and available to work remotely during Pacific time zone business hours.
As Senior Program Data Manager, you will be integrally involved in a project providing significant new funding to expand and strengthen services and housing options for people with serious behavioral health conditions, especially those experiencing homelessness, throughout the state of California. You will assist with project management, including task oversight and management of workplans, deliverables, and staff assignments. You will use your organizational talents to work with diverse stakeholders and grantees to collaborate and expand effective housing and services for people experiencing homelessness and serious behavioral health conditions. You will have opportunities to use your creativity and dive deep in the subject matter as you create products (e.g., reports, PPTs, website content, announcements). This position is ideal for you if your skills also include writing, research, evaluation, and training/technical assistance.

- Interest in providing technical assistance and training to counties and tribal entities (grantees) on data collection, use of data in quality improvement and program planning, and reporting
- Review and summarizing grantee data and qualitative information for reports and infographics
- Working knowledge of HMIS data elements and/or behavioral health outcome measures
- Familiarity with California programs and policies related to behavioral health and affordable housing
- Ability to provide formal training and in-person and virtual technical assistance to providers/clients
- Attention to detail and skills to support grantees including tracking deliverables, providing technical assistance and reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Smartsheet; statistical software experience a plus.
Education, Training, and Experience
- Master’s degree in social work, behavioral health, public health, or similar field is preferred. Professional experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
- Experience in data collection, reporting and analysis. Statistical background preferred, not required.
- For this position, we also seek candidates with at least five years of relevant experience.
- Finally, because most of the work will be on projects in the state of California, experience in CA homelessness and/or behavioral health is strongly preferred.
The Salary Range for this position is between $86,000 and $115,000, depending on experience, education, and other factors.

The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the AHP salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be high or low in the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. The range listed is just one component of AHP’s total compensation package for employees.
