We are hiring a seasoned Product Marketer to drive and manage the Surgical Aortic Valve product portfolio, becoming the in-house expert for these products and associated procedures. You will be empowered to set the strategic direction for a global product portfolio and responsible for developing innovative strategies and partnering with our global commercial teams to execute on global product launches, drive the Cardiac Surgery vision forward, and help gain share in an extremely competitive marketplace.

Core Marketing:
•Develop strategies to grow the business and drive share gains related to specific product line with minimal direction
•Develop impactful product positioning and annual marketing plan
•Develop key technical and marketing materials to support global sales force and maintain frequent communication with the field, providing high value insights
•Stay current on key clinical literature and competitive activities and communicate important findings to the sales force and management
•Keep current on new and competitive technology offerings in the marketplace
•Work closely with R&D to provide direction to development efforts for product improvements and longer-term new product and technology development
•Obtain product knowledge, be seen as the Subject Mater Expert by our customers and our Medtronic functional partners
•Work with cross-functional members as required to ensure products meet global standards
Product Launch:
•Lead the commercial launch team for a new, in-flight product launch
•Act as the downstream marketing leader on the R&D Product Development Core Team.
•Execute a flawless launch for our next generation Aortic Valve, delivering on the designated launch objectives
•Be the face of the launch to executive leadership, exhibiting excellence in project planning, communication skills, executive presence, and results achievement
Product Management:
•Act as an interface with demand planning and supply chain to manage supply/demand forecasting needs and ensure GEO forecasts seem reasonable.
•Monitor competitive moves as they relate to the Surgical Aortic Valve products and develop a cohesive response that can be used to deter competitive threats
Other Marketing Responsibilities:
•Initiate and participate in key customer visits, either onsite or in customer’s clinical setting, tailoring the message to meet visit objectives
•Serve as the in-house expert within the CSH marketing organization. Represents Surgical Aortic Valves in convention planning and other customer engagement activities and attend conferences and other events as appropriate.
•Cultivate and foster key relationships with global KOLs as well as emerging leaders in the space.
•Regularly obtain and seek feedback from customers and field organization to gather information, identify needs, and assess opportunities to help drive marketing programs and input to product planning
• Up to 30% travel
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of marketing, sales or technical experience ( 5 years with an Advanced Degree)
- Product management or project management experience
Nice to Have:
•MBA
•Experience in medical device marketing
•Product Launch experience
•Strong technical aptitude, specifically in Cardiac Surgery and/or the clinical environment would be ideal
•Sales orientation or exposure to working with a high performing salesforce is very helpful
•Demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing plans across geographies and product lines and customer types is also desired
