We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer. We offer a flexible work environment with the option to work hybrid or fully remote, depending on location.
The ideal candidate will support the Graphics Team Leader to conceptualize, design and lead projects to support the business marketing, proposal, and communication needs. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate concepts and ideas clearly and concisely to team members, engineers, project managers, and senior leadership.
What you’ll be doing:
In this position, you will collaborate on, strategize, optimize, and execute company visual design projects. These projects will range from conceptualization to completion of design solutions in multiple graphic applications.
- Lead and create engaging infographics and informative visualizations for internal and external use, including but not limited to creating layouts for proposals and interviews, brochures, signs, website and social media visuals, and event design for both internal and external audiences.
- Take designs from concept through execution while collaborating with marketing leads and creative teams to maintain alignment to meet project deadlines.
- Provide expertise to internal clients and mentor junior members of the graphics team.
- Adhere to and help develop design resources, guidelines, graphics standards, and best practices for the company to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communication.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously to realize the organization’s creative goals.
- Implement new workflows, technologies, programs, materials, and design trends to drive innovation.
- Coordinate and provide thoughtful design concepts that align with brand assets to support meetings and events (such as conferences, special events, outreach attendance) attended by prospective clients, teaming partners, and future employees.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine art design or marketing preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of graphic design experience.
- Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) industry is a plus.
- Experience developing and leading graphic art for print and digital media.
- Experience developing and leading marketing videos.
- Video editing experience is a plus.
- Extensive working knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
- Experience with WordPress.
- Keen awareness of what makes content engaging and successful across platforms and audiences.
- Ability to thrive and be flexible in a quick-moving environment.
