Summary of Role:
A highly visible role, this position joins an important and key part of the Hologic finance organization that provides financial analysis and decision support to the corporate division and management teams. This work includes all necessary financial models, forecasting, reporting, business analyses and other projects to ensure that management teams are making sound financial decisions. The team is highly engaged and passionate in delivering the critical business insights and information for their corporate partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts to set performance expectations for Information Technology (IT) departments
  • Analyze current and historical trends for key performance measurements, identify opportunities for financial improvement and provide recommendations to management
  • Apply knowledge of business systems and processes and leverage best practices when working with business partners to solve business issues
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly departmental reporting packages including standard reports and variance commentary
  • Increase the use of automation across the organization to streamline and improve new and existing management reports
  • Assist with the implementation of budgeting/forecasting and reporting software tools
  • Assist with the development of materials for senior leadership reviews (Global Leadership Team and Board of Directors), providing critical insight into the business
  • Provide financial modeling, financial analysis, and ad-hoc projects as required

  • Strong business partnering and building solid working relationships
  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and accounting principals (accruals, prepaids, amortization)
  • Demonstrated track record for delivering results in fast paced and changing environment
  • Preferred experience in project accounting and purchase order management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate professionally to all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Commitment to learning and growth mindset with a focus in automation
  • Strongly proficient with Microsoft office products
  • Exceptional in managing, analyzing, and summarizing large data sets in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP system (Oracle is strongly preferred)
  • Experience with BI systems, such as Hyperion / Essbase, Power BI, and Qlik Sense

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance

Experience:

  • 3-5 years related financial experience

The annualized base salary range for this role is $76,300 to $119,200 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
