About the Opportunity:
The Sr. Director of Sales, Charters, Meetings & Incentives (CMI), and Group Operations will establish and maintain improved efficiencies and processes within the sales organization that will provide support to the Vice President of Sales, our Sales team, and our Travel Partners in order to increase sales, maximize revenue, and mitigate risk to the company. This position will also provide expert leadership with regard to Charter and Group operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure successful execution of all large group contracts, charters, meetings &
- Ensure service of all Charter group special needs and requests onboard in coordination with Vessel
- Coordinate charter rate quotes with VP Sales, Revenue Management, and other key contributors as
- Manage “Gift a Trip” incentive program.
- Continued development and Implementation of controls to ensure Sales Team has the support
- Continued development and Implementation of tools and quality control systems for the Sales
- Ensure department and practices are developed into a best in class organization and are in
- Assist with elevated travel partner requests, support, and agency issues.
- Develop agency/agent engagement initiatives.
- Gather travel partner feedback and insights via surveys and ongoing input from Sales team to
- Collaborate with other departments (Revenue Management, Marketing, Reservations, etc.) to
- Seaware and SalesForce management including Consortia updates and accurate reporting of
- Manage ongoing development and implementation of Seaware and SalesForce, in conjunction with
- Create and manage all reporting from Seaware and SalesForce including Sales Team usage, pipeline,
- In coordination with the VP of Sales, ensure seamless participation in National Industry conferences
sponsorships.
- Ensure set-up and delivery of marketing materials for Travel agent events-include fam trips, RAM
- Act as Travel Partner liaison, working closely with marketing department to provide sales team and
and within budget.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to develop product presentations, collateral, and other materials
- Develop and maintain communication tools to keep the sales team current on policy and/or product
- Coordinate show specials with Revenue Management; ensure proper communication and reporting
- Be a RESPECT Service System example to other.
- Ensure behavior and performance support the Company’s mission, vision, values, and operating
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required
Experience, Skills & Abilities:
- At least 5+ years of progressive experience in travel industry sales operations and/or sales support services
- Analytical business skills
- Budget management
- Seaware and Salesforce experience
- Must possess excellent, polished, professional communication, presentation, planning, time management, and relationship building skills.
- Intermediate/advanced Microsoft office skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Event planning experience
- Business analytics and business acumen with a key understanding of contracts and statistics
Other:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be willing to travel up to 30%
- Submit to and pass alcohol and drug tests including but not limited to pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident/incident testing
