POSITION SUMMARY

This position analyzes financial status by collecting, monitoring, and study data; and recommending actions. Perform extensive financial analysis to assess the viability, stability, and profitability of the customers’ business. This position partners with lenders in managing their portfolios.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for directing and managing the credit analysts. Trains and mentors the team as appropriate.
  • Approving time worked and PTO.
  • Writes performance reviews using objective, behavioral descriptions, outline clear standards, goals and duties. Hold meetings with employees to discuss their performance.
  • Manages and recommends course of action to loan lenders and officers through financial statement spreading and analysis of new loan requests and existing credit relationships.
  • Analyze all data, providing accurate information and sound judgment regarding the borrower’s total relationship.
  • Prepares formal loan proposals, risk ratings and loan pricing worksheets which summarize the total relationship and a complete financial overview to include ratio and trend analysis. Generate profitability models.
  • Ensures all documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable.
  • Calculate and verify financial covenants per the terms of the loan agreement.
  • Manages oversight of the tickler system. Manage the files for final completion documents on all transactions, on-going financial statements, tax returns, and other tickler items.
  • Monitor all credits are risk rated, and that risk ratings remain commensurate with the quality of the credit as supported by file and financial information.
  • Prepare Right to Cure notices on installment or real estate loans on an ongoing basis for 30+ day delinquencies or as otherwise directed by Loan Committee.
  • Partner with lenders in managing their portfolios, analyzing reports and determinations, and ordering appraisals. Ensuring documents are prepared correctly, accurately and enforceable.
  • Attend loan committee to assist lenders on giving input on presentations and reviews. Accompany lenders on business related travel to gain sufficient knowledge of the clients.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
