The Bank of New York Mellon seeks Senior Specialist, Production Services Application Support in Jersey City, NJ, to maintain and support applications and their operating environments. Perform complex troubleshooting as a subject matter expert in one or more applications. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field, and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Utilizing CI/CD including Git, Gitlab pipeline creation, Sonar, and Artifactory; Writing, testing, and supporting REST and HTTP using Junit, JMeter, and Postman for API development and debugging; Managing applications and their resources via Docker through login-less debugging using logging tools including Splunk and AppDynamics; Providing production support escalation for an API development platform to troubleshoot real time issues through use of tools including Wireshark, Splunk, CLI, and SQL Developer; Debugging of full stack issues in networking, Java, and Apache for application support; and Performing integration management of networking and load balancing equipment including f5, software load balancing, TCP/IP, and TLS for certificate creation/generation.
