Our Portland call center loves to celebrate achievements. We have a monthly theme based on the interests of our team members. The theme is then used for communications, fun activities, giveaways, and even dress up contests. If you interview with us, you'll get to see November's Star Trek theme first hand! If your interview doesn't fall on a dress up day, check out the TV monitors throughout the call center. We have several slide shows playing featuring top performers, job promotions, new comers, and ohter exciting updates.

Our people have a variety of interests, from pop culture to sports, to family and animals. Whether it's a manager in a wizard's robe handing out cookies of darkness (true story!) or networking with a Business Resource Group for LGBTQ+ or another group, we invite everyone to bring their interests with them; not leave them at the door.

Be Heard

When interviewing you'll notice most office doors are open, unless there's a meeting in progress. We take our open door policy seriously, and encourage all employees to share what's on their mind. We'll even pull you during different stages of employment for a focus group, where your feedback can help us design better processes.

Just this year we expanded training from 5 weeks to 11 weeks. Feedback from new hires allowed us to design a better, more thorough training program to build a solid foundation for success. The first 3 weeks is spent in a classroom setting and the remaining 8 new comers start taking live calls within their training group.

Be Empowered

Spectrum promoted over 13,000 employees in 2021. If the advancement was all local, that would be about 20% of the population of Portland! The Role At A Glance

  • The Job. Full-time entry-level to mid-level customer service role in inbound call center. You will troubleshoot and resolve mobile customer technology and service issues, including repair, billing, and account management.
  • Candidate Profile: A people oriented, problem solver who can multitask to resolve a variety concerns with services and equipment. Mobile Representatives use empathy, patience and effective communication skills to uncover customer needs, answer questions, and leave a positive impression on customer interactions.
  • Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Work Schedule

All of our team members receive a set schedule, meaning the days and hours you work will not change unless you volunteer for extra hours, take time off, or apply for a different shift in the future. We have a variety of shifts available! All schedules include at least one weekend shift.
