Overview:
- The SAIF QA automation infrastructure is in a cloud environment via AWS leveraging Terraform for IaC, utilizing ECR/ECS with a Python code base. GitLab provides our primary version control.
Requirements:
- Test automation experience is not limited to front-end/UI. Testing through the entire stack against APIs and databases is a must
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Selenium
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure (or AWS specifically), CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Terraform is a + Experience with containers (Docker
Expectations:
- Be collaborative and not hesitate to ask for help from others rather than burning time figuring out a problem on their own
- Developer who can truly focus on the QA automation perspective of the work
- Act as a go-to resource for the Persistent team
- Design, write, document, and test automation programs and processes.
- Recommend and champion the automation effort by creating frameworks to
support automated testing needs. - Perform software testing, including manual testing, that meets team and
organizational quality assurance standards for complex software
applications. - Develop complex test strategies and create appropriate test harnesses
and automation systems. - Collaborate with business analysts, software development engineers, and
other team members throughout the software development lifecycle to
understand system requirements, usage scenarios, boundary conditions, and
acceptance criteria. - Lead and conduct performance, security, load, and other testing required
by the team, creating needed test data, using automation to enhance our
performance. - Develop, administer, and monitor the development and execution of test
plans and testing practices adopted by team. - Design, write, document, and test complex programs in adherence with
SAIF’ s software development methodology and standards. - Troubleshoot, maintain, revise, and test existing systems, repairing
defects to ensure products continue to meet customer and partner needs.
Plan, manage, and complete assignments timely. - Provide status updates to team and supervisor.
