Erie Family Health Center is looking for a quick thinking and confident communicator like you to join our Behavioral Health Team. The School Based Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist will operate both in a consultative role within our primary care setting as well as offer traditional moderate level therapeutic services. Responsibilities

• Provide same-day consultation services with an adolescent population that may include differential diagnosis, mental health screenings and assessments, psychoeducation, brief interventions, and referrals for further treatment
• Consult and collaborate with other health care team members and school staff personnel on methods of assisting patients and their families in overcoming social and emotional difficulties which may prevent effective health care
• Manage psychosocial aspects of chronic and acute diseases
• Provide individual and group therapy to a small number of patients
• Work with the Behavioral Health team members to promote positive health outcomes and assure the full integration of behavioral health services

Qualifications

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a Behavioral Health discipline (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, etc.) with a valid Illinois State Licensure as appropriate to discipline.
• Two to three years' experience in clinical background (behavioral health, social work, ) preferred
• Prior work experience as a LCSW or LCPC in medical setting or Federally Qualified Health Center preferred
• Cultural competency and a strong desire to work with a diverse client population in a low income, minority environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish strongly preferred (May be required to assist or communicate with non-English/Spanish-only speaking patients and/or guests)

Erie is offering a Sign-on bonus!

• $1,000 signing bonus: recent graduates with Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling
• $2,000 signing bonus: LCSW or LCPC with 0 - 5 years experience
• $4,000 signing bonus: LCSW or LCPC with 5+ years' experience

Erie is part of the National Health Service Corps, as such, you would be able to participate in their Loan Repayment Program (up to $50k for full-time and $25k for part-time employees).
