Is teaching and coordinating your jam? Look no further! We are looking for a bus / van driver to transport school age children from the center to and from neighboring elementary schools. No special license is necessary for our transportation vehicles. Hours are 10am-6pm Monday through Friday filled by coordinating school age programming! There are a few NON-School Days which would require hours 7:30AM-4:30PM. Are you wanting to develop your own curriculum and teach and engage with the kiddos? This is perfect for you!
Job Duties:
- Create Curriculum for school age kiddos K-6th Grade.
- Offer breaks during school day to other staff members.
- Returning to the child care center, manager checks your bus before it is parked. Additional duties can be assigned depending on how many hours you are wanting.
- Offer Afternoon snack to kiddos onece they return from school.
- Curriculum development is required to keep children engaged in activities or helping with homework.
- Summer Hours can vary and include setting up field trips and events for a full school program.
Applicants must:
- Must adhere to the DHHS guidelines for training. You will required to be CPR/First aid Certified as well as take the Safe Kids Buckle Up training provided by the center.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Must pass a Nebraska Child and Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry check. Must pass a background check and undergo the Nebraska State Patrol fingerprinting process.
- Must be audibly aware of what is going on in the van and surroundings at all times and be physically able to safely, and quickly, evacuate the bus in an emergency situation.
- Must maintain and actively pursue education guidelines and classes to adhere with DHHS standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
