Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in policy enforcement, content moderation, and policy creation.
  • Experience in operations management or consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in content policy, anti-abuse, and reviewing online content.
  • Experience in SQL and spreadsheet software.
  • Knowledge of common product abuse vectors, user policy issues, vendor operations, and enforcement operations.
  • Ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners such as product, engineering, and operations across geographies in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, comfortable leading complex projects across new and evolving stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent organization, problem solving, communication, and people skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000-$157,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate an understanding of YouTube Partner Program Policies and how it impacts YouTube creators and users to balance safety with freedom of expression.
  • Develop policy enforcement guidelines, deliver training to content moderators, and provide expert enforcement advice to navigate complexity.
  • Manage policy enforcement quality, including documentation of root cause corrective actions and communication back to content moderator teams.
  • Manage escalations with a fast turn-around time to define and deliver the best action plan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups (e.g., Engineering, Policy Development, Support, Legal, and other Trust and Safety Enforcement teams) to deploy innovative processes and policies to address abuse new vectors.
