Responsibilities:
- Coordinates truck dispatch to jobs with orders received from Dispatch office and operates computer to produce appropriate customer tickets.
- Verifies tickts for numbers, date and time accuracy.
- Sends transaction register and ticket copies to the main office on a daily basis.
- Transfers all files and ticket transfer files, at least twice daily.
- Answers phones and takes accurate messages
- Tares trucks (empty weight) on weekly basis, and records as appropriate.
- Maintains accurate records of tons sold by product.
- Maintains product knowledge necessary to answer customer questions.
- Performs housekeeping duties to ensure that the scale house is clean and orderly.
- Performs other administrative duties as assigned.
- High School Dipoma or GED Equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience directly related to the abilities outlined
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilitis
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, and to multiple and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to maintain composure and tact when faced with difficult situations
May require local travel to assist at other locations, or for training purposes
