SCADA Senior Analyst Job at Lewis Energy Group
Summary:
Works as part of the SCADA team to provide services and support to various departments throughout Lewis Energy. Includes full range of support for Cygnet SCADA; Device building/integration, HMI development and support via Cygnet Studio and eventually Canvas/Web API, FMS/measurement and general support requests via email or phone.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Works with Cygnet for Production (CygProd) to create and / or modify screen sets.
- Supports Production Dept. & Gas Control by troubleshooting / setting up alarms.
- Adding / modifying points (end devices) in CygProd.
- Assists with CygProd upgrades and Disaster Recovery. Assists with bringing in new facilities into CygProd.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have 2+ years SCADA Experience with Cygnet SCADA or another O&G focused SCADA System.
Solid understanding of networks including security and communication protocols.
Proven experience with at least one programming language.

Other Qualifications
Experience working with Cygnet for Production (CygProd) and creating or modifying custom screen sets. Working knowledge of RocEIE and Modbus/XML.
Experience with lauguages (VBScript/Java/C#) and understanding of database nomenclature. Knowledge of upgrades and Disaster Recovery a plus. General knowledge of field devices and equipment.
